Taxi El Vendrell is a demo app for ordering a taxi in El Vendrell (Tarragona, Spain). It is developed by Greg Petrov, self-employed (autónomo), "the developer". It is not affiliated with any taxi company.

What data we process

Location, only while you use the app, to set the pickup point and show nearby taxis. It is not recorded in the background.
Contact phone, if you give it, so the driver of your ride can call you. Only the assigned driver sees it.
Order data: pickup, destination, vehicle type and ride status.
An anonymous device identifier created by the app. We don't ask for a name, email or password.

Why

Only to provide the service: send your order to a driver, show you the taxi on the map, and tell you when it arrives. We don't use the data for advertising and we don't sell it.

Who it is shared with

With the driver who accepts your order (pickup, destination, language and phone). Maps, address search and routes use OpenStreetMap-based services (OpenFreeMap, Photon, OSRM), which receive the coordinates they need.

Retention

Orders are kept on the server (European Union) for at most 12 months. The history on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the app or use "Reset" in the menu.
